Blair and Christian had the most beautiful wedding at the Bush House Estate. Blair wore a family heirloom crown that was born by bother her mother and grandmother on their wedding days. It was such a special feature for her wedding day look. The whole day had a bit of a turn of the century feel with both Christian and Blair sporting modern looks with an antique feel.

Christian’s dad was actually the officiant for the wedding and did a wonderful job. The ceremony ended just in time to avoid the rain and the guests all moved indoors to enjoy the cocktail hour. The reception was so much fun and I loved watching Christian tear up the dance floor! Here is a little glimpse of the day.

This was a wedding that I looked forward to all year because it took me on the road to Maine. Maine is one of my favorite places in the world. It’s just special and has a certain vibe that makes it feel like home and an adventure all at once.

The wedding was held at the Lakeside Lodge at Bangs Beach in Sidney, Maine. It sits right along the lake shore of Messalonskee Lake. The roads at the lake are all named after flowers and it’s just so cute! Everyone got ready at Marleigh’s grandmother’s beautiful lake house. Once we did the first look, I hopped on a boat with the couple and the bridal party and we motored over to the venue about a mile down the lake. It was so much fun and so pretty.

The ceremony took place in front of the water and then the reception followed with a dance floor under the stars. It was pretty magical!

On my way back home, I spent time at the ocean and visited Salem. Love the trips my weddings take me on and can’t wait to see what’s in store for the next season!
